All of the locally privately owned charter boats and other water-related activity vessels are continually evaluated to ensure the highest quality and guarantee you a safe and enjoyable experience while at Tranquility Bay Beach House Resort.
At Tranquility Bay Beach House Resort we offer two exceptional fishing charter packages for our guests.
The Standard Fishing Package:
The Standard Fishing Package includes charter boats that enjoy good reputations within the local area. These boats, captains and mates are private contractors available for hire to take you fishing. While we are selective in the boats we recommend, the Standard Fishing Package does not guarantee you catching fish and does not include the customary 10% gratuity or the additional amenities in our Deluxe Fishing Package.

The Deluxe Fishing Package is designed for those who appreciate superlative service and want to enjoy the greatest fishing adventure. We employ a rigorous selection process and continual evaluation to ensure that the best charter captains, mates and boats available in our area are contracted.

Tranquility Bay’s Deluxe Fishing Package Policy
Like all fishermen, our Deluxe Fishing Package boat teams like catching and not just fishing. Each of Tranquility Bay’s Deluxe Fishing Package captains is a proven fisherman who catches fish. You really will appreciate their effort on the occasional slow fishing day.
Tranquility Bay’s Deluxe Fishing Package
Fish/Release/Harvest Policies:
At Tranquility Bay Beach House Resort, we are committed to protecting our fishing resources. Fishing regulations will be followed. We even go a step further by encouraging the release of all sport fish, limiting the harvesting of many species not yet protect by state and federal regulations, decreasing some bag limits, and increasing some size limits.
Tranquility Bay Beach House Resort Deluxe Fishing Package boats and captains have agreed to support a program to release more fish, especially those fish that are not regulated and based upon our experience of endangerment. Our recommended Deluxe Fishing Package captains encourage guests to keep only what they need to eat and releasing the rest. After all, only fresh fish have the best taste. Guests who release fish will be rewarded by having their catch prepared at Butterfly Café, Tranquility Bay’s fine dining restaurant. Our Deluxe Fishing Package captains are personally committed to support sustainable fishing. They will release all marlin, sailfish, spearfish, Africa pompano, yellow fin grouper, permit and tarpon. They also will limit the number and size of fish caught for the following species: black fin tuna, a maximum of 6 large, 20 lbs. and up; black grouper and red grouper, for a total of 2 grouper per boat per day; yellow tail snapper 14” and up; and mutton snapper, 2 per boat per day of 22” in length nose to tip of tail. Although it may be legal to harvest these species, we are committed to preserving our greatest resource.
